Been reading for years, actually know David E and met BCR a few times (thanks for that Gibby Junior, still going strong). Anyway, I have had this guitar for 4 years or so, and have always wondered about its provenance. The odd things are that the tuners are locking sperzels, and the front p90 is really strange, stagged solid pole pieces. Serial # 645731. If any of you know anything about this beast, lemme know. I also have a 3 p90 HFC korina, play that ALL the time.

Yeah, I know such guitars are a touchy subject. <ducking>

You know me? Hmmmmm...... 3P90 Korina....

Do you live in NYC? Play with White Collar Crime?

If not, I'm not sure who you are.

He's watching you...

Yup dave, thats me. Playing tax day at Kenny's Castaway. Still have that ministorage rehearsal space!
Very cool. Matt has been very bad about sending baby pictures.

I still need to get to NY for a WCC show, but these days I'm gigging more than ever!

Sweet Duo...impressed that you don't polish it for pictures...apparently a player too!

Hahaha. Interesting, 3-hole. Up to last month we had a similar looking duo- I sold it to a fellow HFCer.

But we "go back" much farther. Some years back I was in band called White Collar Crime. We were a cover band playing smaller NJ venues. We had to change our name we you guys broke the NYC club scene. We promtly changed our names to Crash Test Dummies. That name didn't last either.... /emoticons/default_blink.png

What time you guys playin tax day? I am usually done dropping off my forms at 34th st sometime around 11:55.

Joined the band well after the great name controversy, never knew there was a dispute, will check with the original members for the story.

We are going on at 8pm.

Tell me, how does your P90 Duotone sound? Does it sound similar to an Artist P90? Is it rare? Can I have it?

everyone knows that the best way to polish a P-90 Duotone is with half a 20 dollar bill...make sure you have a backup so you can have that flawless technique..it makes all the difference in the tone vs. a humbucker'd Duo...

Oh, that explains it, I have been using fishnets to polish it. I shoulda known that wouldn't work, as my spidey sense was tingling, but I did not pay attention.

All is going well Greg, as I said, that junior I got from you just rawks. Perfect player, beat to hell, headstock repair, but sounds like the voice of god. Still have to make it to your shop, parents live in Bethlehem, if I get out there with a little time to kill I'll make the drive.

Gotta love it when lurkers finally post... like measure1 are you out there?

As for the guitars..... gaaawwwwwwwwwdrooooooollllll.
