I missed his passing by about 10 minutes. My mother, his wife of 53 years, was with him as was my sister. He did not suffer any in the end and for that I am grateful. While he was still awake, my final words to him were that I loved him and his to me were " I'm proud of you". I'll treasure that until I die.Thanks again guys. I'm off to be with my other family.
