Special P90 flexible neck

i'd read a post somewhere about a Special P90 having a pretty flexible neck...

i just noticed mine is the same way and would like to know if this is normal or if i've got a problem...mine's a '93...

also, i've got the famed neck joint glue/paint problem...is there anything i can cover that up with so it's not as noticeable and won't make it worse?

BCR Greg has a quick, easy fix that makes the Hameritis less noticeable.

As for the neck flex, I grabbed my '93 Special and plugged it in and pushed it around. I never particularly noticed the flex before, and it only seems to be an issue if you really rassle with it. For reference, my fattest neck (98 Phantom Custom) will wobble too with a similar amount of pressure. I just A/B/ed 'em.

All necks have some flex to them. My 82 special has the most. It bothered me a bit at first, but now it's a favorite of mine. It doesn't have a neck as thin as some of my other Hamer's either.

mine's not thin at all...about medium from what i've read...but i can do a little whammy by lightly pulling back while fretting a barre chord...way easier than any of my other guitars...it'll happen enuff to change the pitch without trying if i'm not careful...

i figure i'll get used to it as long as there's nothing wrong with it...
