Guitar Warm Up Time

O.k., so it looks like UPS left a guitar outside at my place. By the time my wife gets home and brings it inside, it will have been outside for a few hours. So, how long should I let the guitar warm up before 1) taking it out of the box and 2) taking it out of the case. It's a Jackson Soloist by the way; I'm pretty positive they use Poly finishes. So maybe I can just take it out right away?

Side note-I've heard it takes half the time of a relationship to get over said relationship. So, say you dated someone for a year and had a bad breakup, it should take you about 6 months to get over it. Just came to mind, that's all. /emoticons/default_rolleyes.gif

Enjoy the Jackson AQ!

Not usually if you're the one doing the breaking up and have moved along already!

Let it warm up to room temp before pulling it out of the case. Few hours should do...
Turns out the mail room guys at Playboy are all about such safeguards. My PRS arrived here at the office yesterday at 3:30 in the afternoon and they didn't bring it to me until 11:30 this morning! What swell guys!
