FS: Snakeskin Chappy

SOLD! Thanks all for the interest and have an uber fantastic day

Toying with the idea of letting go of my mint '87 Snakeskin chappy with OHSC. It's missing the trem back plate, has pearloid tuner buttons, and light pick swirls. Other than that this is the cleanest 20 year old guitar I've laid my filthy little eyes on. Was on the bay a while back and found its way to me...just doesn't get a lot of play time as it's far to pretty for me (I've been known to destroy my twangers). I'm thinking about 750 + shipping. Maybe high, maybe low but I thought I'd see if there was any interest. Pics to follow soon...need a new cam.

edited to add...it's a bolt on, rosewood and dots. Thanks for all the interest. Pics will be sent out as well as posted here tomorrow.

Jason's been here a long time.

He doesn't need to post pictures to prove what he's selling is what he says it is.

Yes, but you're only partly right.

The truth is (and I don't think I'll have a problem finding people to agree with me) that you almost can not go wrong buying - even sight unseen - from an HFC'er.

Apart from two or three cases that I can recall (and I remember everything), not only do HFC'ers treat other HFC'ers honestly and fairly, we all watch out for each other and pounce on those that don't.

Those that try to pull a fast one are not only shamed into admission and submission, but I can remember instances where people have knocked on doors acting on behalf of other HFC'ers clear across the country.

See if you get that kind of support on those other forums.

Is there a guitar in Japan that you want someone to check out for you? We can do that.

How about Korea? New York City? Louisiana? Even Canada? Yes, even Canada!

We look out for each other.

 
I ended up buying a DuoTone from Greg a few months back. We chatted briefly and both you and he said the same thing. I really haven't seen anything to contradict you guys.

Very good group of folks here.
