Hamerhack Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Self tuning Guitar?http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/Feat...une_%20Gibson_/What sayest thou to that?
Thundernotes Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Cool. I hope it turns off the output to your amp while it's doing its thing! I hate live-tuning on stage
Scooter Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 That IS cool. Now they need to make a self-playing guitar (for me).
Steve Haynie Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 By the time you can afford a Gibson you ought to know how to tune your own guitar.
darc Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I think it's very promising in regards to single guitars for multiple tunings etc. It's much more elegant than other solutions that have tried to do the same thing in the past. (What was the name of that monstrous computerized bridge replacement that Jimmy Page endorsed for a little while?) Cool little tricks like using the strings to conduct information from the control cavity to the tuning machines... ya gotta admire that.
bbobb24 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 That does sound really cool, how much of an adder do you think this thing is?

So, some sneaky guitar player could change tunings during a song without anyone noticing? Hmmmm....
