Where Might I Find....

You could try one of the many suppliers of Hammond stuff. Here's the mfg's web page full of diecast aluminum enclosures:

http://www.hammondmfg.com/scpgDIEC.htm

Try http://www.tubesandmore.com, click on Enclosures on the left and then 'Diecast aluminum' when it comes up on the right. HTH. HAND!

EDIT: Oops, thought you were looking for the stompbox enclosures themselves. I see now you're looking more for a pedal board type thing to hold your stomps. Sorry!

Just go to the oldest music store you know of in town and I'd bet they gotta few "amp channel/feature selector" footswitches that did'nt go home with the new owner of whatever amp and would make a good base to start with..I know I gotta buttload of em hanging around my shop!!

Cruster - you got it right. I need a stompbox-type enclosure big enough for about half a dozen footswitches. Those 2 sites are right in the ballpark.

I made the mistake of dumping my old dead stomps some time ago figuring I'd never use them for anything. D'OH!

Found them. They are Eddystone Enclosures, and have been bought out by Hammond. They still sell in the US; I got a bunch of boxes from Mouser, but they don't seem to carry Eddystone anymore.

LionElectronics still carries them. This one should be big enough for 6 stompers; it's about 7.5 by 4.5 inches. To find the exact sizes, Hammond lists them. Just look them up at Lion by part number.
