Engl Blackmore with two custom 4x12's called King Kabs, made by a local guy.

the engl blackmore is a phantastic amp, i like very much.

very versatile with less knobs - great.

I run either a Framus Cobra or Dragon through a Metaltronix Killer Kab, depending on what I'm going for.

both great amps.

i'm surprised - many german amps are played here.

but i can understand the choice for those :P

Played an open jam thru the house bands equipment, I have a few half stacks (Soldano, Marshall, Peavey) The amp I used was an old tweed Mesa. One 12". Suberb little amp. Could dial in anything. Volumn level kept up with the other guys Marshall 2-12 combo.

I was very impressed.

I honestly never would have tried them, let alone owned them, were it not for a friend of a friend of a friend who knew this guy who worked for Framus...

...know what I mean? I got a pretty good deal on them both, but now I know they're worth the asking $, for sure.

What day is it???? :P

which one of you two guys asks?

It's directed to himself. Kurtsuff has a reputation for going through a lot of very good amplifiers. :P

For me, i spend most of my time on a Mesa TriAxis into a 20/20 power amp into a Dr Z Z Best cab. When i need to (or just wanna) get loud, i have a Germino RG with KT66 power tubes and a Marshall JCM 800 stack. Few other cats and dogs, but the Mesa and Germino are the two "go to's" for the moment.

These days all my amps are imaginary. I now have the entire line of amplitube amp plug-ins.

The perfect world for a bedroom guitarist.

IK mulitimedia site

yes, it's unbelievable how many possibilities you have with those plugins.

and they sound good.

for me it is a good thing to record ideas or preproduce songs.

but it will never be able to replace my Diezel Herbert.

nearly the same with me.

the amp i had befor was an ENGL Savage that i liked very much.

then i met peter diezel and he introduced the "Herbert" to me and what can i say:

the better kills the good!

this amp can sound like a wrecking ball, also just sweet - unbelievable versatile.

peter diezel modified the amp specially for my wishes and guitars.

this is what i call customer service.

the amp has lifetime warranty and peter promised to me free mods in the future

don't matter when.

i never heard of any similar.

greetings

klaus
