Steve Haynie
I have a 1949 National Grand Console doubleneck steel guitar for trade. This should bring no less than $600, and the last one I sold (with new tuner buttons and strings) went for $760 last summer. Everything is there, but there are three issues that must be disclosed. It needs new strings. The switch is working, but worn. This is the same as the last Grand Console I sold, and I suspect it is true for others. The tuner buttons are shrinking, but not cracking apart. There is a difference! I think these would be good candidates for being dipped in super glue and preserved. I can trade up or down to do a cash/trade deal.
