Personal guitar sale part 2

Recommended Posts

Well the first round of guitars sold, but they did not bring what I thought they would, so here is the next round. These are more player guitars. I've decided that because the auction thing did little good I'll just list them here at set prices and see what happens.

First is a 1966 Fender Electric XII that is all original except for a burgundy mist body refin that we did. It includes a new G&G black amp logo case with orange lining. The guitar plays and sounds really cool I'd like to get $2000 for it.

Next is a 2006 Gibson Flying V that we refinished silverburst like a late 70s V and installed a Modern Upgrade kit in. All the rest is stock. The case got some light water damage in our shop flood, but it's only cosmetic. I want $750 for it.

Last is a 2008 Gibson Explorer Faded brown. It's a great guitar and is set up with THE prototype of the Fralin Big Block humbucker and a Modern upgrade kit

It also has it original hardcase. I'm asking $600 for it.

It can also be heard in the following Big Block clips

and is seen in this video being played by Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth!

E-mail me at [email protected] if you want one. I'd like all payments to be through Paypal.

Thanks

Roy

PS I still have one running on Ebay at

Nice stuff, Roy!

The Explorer looks great, as do the others. Can you tell me the neck differences between the V and the Explorer? I like the Hamer modern (shallow and wide) feel. Do either of these come close? Thanks!

Both necks are just about the same and are smaller than the vintage Hamer neck shape (Gibson 50s), but are not as small as the thin Hamer shape (or the Gibson 60s shape). They are nice full necks that are wide, but not overly fat.

I LOVE that 12!

Unfortunately, I've gotta move some stuff before anything comes in.

Guys if there is any interest on these new ones I want to stay close to these prices, but make me an offer because they need to move quickly. I'm going to give them the weekend here before they go to ebay.

Roy,

What is the approx weight on the Silverburst V?

Thanks,

Joe

It's silly light. I don't have a good scale here, but I'd say it's around seven to seven and a half pounds.

Guys there has been a lot of questions about these guitars, but no takers yet. a little to think about on them. The electric XII is the rarer version with no binding and dots and in sunburst books for $3800, so this price is almost half priced.

On the V if you sent a V in for this finish alone it would be $650 and the kit installed would be $80, so that just leaves $70 to cover the guitar it's self and the case, so this is a great guitar at a very low price.

The Explorer sells for $699 if you can find them on sale and this one has the first Fralin Big Block that sells for $160 and the complete electronics upgrade that costs $75, so no only are you saving $99 off the new price, but you are getting the upgrades for free.

If no one acts on these today they will be going on Ebay tonight at 6:00PM.
