cmatthes Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I thought that one was presently owned by a HFC member. Is that a legit auction?
cspot Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 GAStacular!!! I'm pretty sure roughly translated it says all the HFC'ers should pitch in and buy it for me.... xoxoxo

RacerX Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 That one looks slightly (a few bullets moved and some other small changes) different. The other one is owned by another HFC'r I'll let him chime in, I think it's his Sig pic. I read somewhere that O'connor usually did the graphics in pairs or maybe 3-4 at a time. So there are usually at least 2 of everything out there...Wish this was in the US, I could make a little room for that one! Mark.
proxmax Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 sold for 755 euros - 980$what a disgrace!
kurtsstuff Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Man.......Some cool guitars from over across the pond..Too bad they run 220 volts or..I'd get some
holLoWskull Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 sold for 755 euros - 980$what a disgrace!Just curious, but why do you think that price is a disgrace? It seems like in general most used Hamers on ebay usually sell for around 40-60% of what they cost new, so this price is probably in line with that reasoning. Honestly some of the prices used Californians have been fetching in recent years seemed unusually high (to me anyway) compared to most other Hamer models from the same era, so perhaps that is why this price seems too low now?

Feynman Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 ...i remember the black cali from a hfc member sold for over $2000.It seems low to me for a Euro point of view as well.As far as the black one that belonged to Veatch goes - well you can blame/thank me for that. For me, that was just about the ideal Cali. I put an early high bid in for $2000, thinking it would safely be mine, and I expected it to get nowhere close to my max.Evidently there was one determined fella out there who wanted it that much more than I did. He bumped my bid about 50 times before he figured out my limit.I was shocked, and awed. Then I was sad.Black + OBL = Sex.
