Hamerphite Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I have one of the original Rockman units, with the 3-position switch for clean, dirty or super dirty, I still have the power supply for it too. Maybe you'd want to trade for some other pedal?Your friend,Ralph
NeilZ Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Niiiiiice! What is thje story behind this collection?
Dutchman Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I still use my Rockman midi Octopus, works better than any of the new stuff. That rack is awesome!!!!
hardheartedbill Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I have a stereo chorus 1/2 rack unit I'd sell
jerseydrew Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I still have a Rockman X100B and a Bass Rockman too. They're indespensible for recording. I have none for sale though, I just wanted to add my 2 cents
cmatthes Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I've still got my Rockman from 1983. That thing had a HUGE appetite for AA batteries, as I recall. I never did get the adaptor, but that was a cool as hell thing back then. I ran through the Rockman and out of either a Peavey 2x12, a Bassman or a Silverface Twin for a few glorious years...ah, the sound of the '80s! It actually worked pretty well.I should dig up an adaptor somewhere and bring all that back to see if it's as great as I thought it was back then.** Oh - great collection SirDan!
backinit Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I think I had a rockgasm looking at that collection.
sirDaniel Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 ** Oh - great collection SirDan!no mine....on eBay right now; the whole wallop!$15,999I have owned my share. Bought an XPR new in 86. Way ahead of it's time. Used it live for about 100 gigs. LOVED it. someone offereded me $750 and I thought they were on crack; so I sold it to him. Also got a XP100 all in one unit at my mom/pop store on consign for $250 with pedals. dusty. Cleaned it up and sold it for BIG dollars on the bay...the sound is unique. Seemed a little more popular back when.I still have a set of the midipedals.
kurtsstuff Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Back in the day my secret tone weapon was the rockman graphic EQ Tucked away out of sight and many times I be told.... "Man....I have one these amps and mine don't sound like that....What did you do to it? Sounds killer!!" Would always reply..Guess I just got lucky???
Brooks Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 i had the distortion generator half rack,it nailed that boston tone. used to run it thru a fender bandmaster head into a 4x12.
santellavision Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 no mine.... on eBay right now; the whole wallop!$15,999Didn't sell. I guess nobody wanted this 40-year old virgin's entire collection.
RacerX Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 no mine.... on eBay right now; the whole wallop!$15,999 Didn't sell. I guess nobody wanted this 40-year old virgin's entire collection. Just think of the amount of pot cleaner needed to keep all those sliders and switches workin'
