I think the Stellartone circuit is just a variation of a veritone. They just use a switch with more positions, and no inductor. I've seen the YouTube vid... I've never seen one in real life to pull apart though. Instead of the usual design, he's mostly stepping through different caps, no inductor (coil).

I made a beauty active and inductive veritone in the late '70s... it took me ages to find useful combinations of caps, and I only had a six position switch. The one in my Lado sucked (not a fan of the ones in my B.C. Rich either). I sold a few, but at the time, no one wanted a battery in their guitar...

I have a Stellartone in that Godin I'm selling. I had it in my 25th Anniversary prior to selling it (stupid stupid stupid move) and it did everything it was purported to. Highly recommended.

Now that I think of it, I'm going to pull it and stick it my wraptail Artist.
