G Man
Yikes, beware all ye who enter here, GAS will be overwhelming once one has viewed this thread in its entirety, and I can't say there is a proper cure that is anywhere near what one would call affordable. (Mod Edit)Please avoid political references in posts.Sorry about that, hadn't thought of the political aspect of it.
tobereeno
this one's definitely a rare one. Is it a Californian? Yet only 24 frets, but Virtuoso headstock. And the neck profiles are very unique - I suspect the person who ordered this specified Ibanez-like necks. I've never played another Hamer that had the same slim necks (my Virtuoso has a typical Californian neck carve) This one was a one-off too. I sold this one off; kept it for years but never really played it. I don't believe in hoarding so I let it go:

mc2
OK then...I'll see you a Steve Stevens...and raise you a Doubleneck and a QuadBass!! sustain block one of the four Hamer 7 strings made well...it's a 12 knob Quad ...and throw in a few weird non-Hamers. a pair of Kubicki minis (20.5 scale, if I recall)...matched pair dated the same month/year from '82 and signed by Phil on the backs. and a couple of really, really strange thingies...a wacky roots bass and handcarved jailhouse guitar. The bass actually has some turnbuckle setup for tuning.
