Hackubus Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Shoulda posted this sooner, but time's gotten away from me. Had to have, was on sale, now mine. As of yesterday, sporting a zebra Duncan 78/EVH pickup. I think the thing I like best about it is, at a couple of gigs now, there have been a couple of young ladies come up to me & say "I like your guitar!" I like it that they like my guitar.

Hackubus Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 Aaaaaaaaaaaaaannnddd? Then what? Did you demonstrate your playing skills? Since I'm old, ugly, & married, I introduced them to the single members of the band & lived vicariously thru them.
crunchee Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Since I'm old, ugly, & married, I introduced them to the single members of the band & lived vicariously thru them. Oh well. I know that feeling. Still, don't ever get rid of this guitar, it's just too cool!
velorush Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Fabulous guitar! Really a well executed flame job. I'm proud of people who have chops to play something like that.
dobieboy Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Classic Charvel design, very cool. Will you be selling your Gold top Standard to help fund the purchase???
Hackubus Posted May 19, 2011 Author Posted May 19, 2011 Nope, fraid not. The GT Standard is pretty much promised to my daughter. Most of my meager Marshall collection funded this purchase. I'm really gonna miss that 77 JMP & that B cab, but they're in good hands now.
