peedenmark7 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 I'm going tele crazy !! If anyone has a clean unmolested TLE Custom with booms, I'd be interested. Prefer a sus block , realize that most carry Floyds. Still looking for an interesting t51 with rosewood board as well.
Jem Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Although you probably know the TLE is about as far from a Tele as a Bugatti is from a Buick.Basically it's like a single cut Chap - just thought i'd chuck this out to avoid disappointment.
murkat Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 you could check with Northsider, see if he still has....
Brooks Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 my pal might unload his slammer series tele...
rj2858 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 you could check with Northsider, see if he still has....http://www.hamerfanc...__1#entry530345Pretty sure I remember Northsiders' not having 'boomers'.IIRC it was a carbon copy of the one shown by a new member in the last couple 'o' days - sustain block, dots, yellow trans finish.Boomered TLE's is purty hard to come by.
Bennyboy-UK Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I know where there is a Floydy one in the US with Boomers - but I'm with Jem - if I had giant hands, I would have kept it - but i don't, so I didn't :-( B
HoboMan Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I know where there is a Floydy one in the US with Boomers - but I'm with Jem - if I had giant hands, I would have kept it - but i don't, so I didn't :-( B I don't think it's for sale. I've asked the owner and he says no.
Jakeboy Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 That is beyond badass, Tobereeno! Is it for sale?
tobereeno Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 That is beyond badass, Tobereeno! Is it for sale? The infamous Jimmie Vaughan TLE....that one's a keeper. Even Jimmie Vaughan couldn't get that one back from me. It just drips with mojo. Whoever put the hideous pickguard on it did me a big favor; no one wanted to touch it when all it took was a couple minutes to unscrew and throw that thing out. The price came down to $2000, which still might be a bit much, but it's just a stunningly great guitar.
peedenmark7 Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 The vaughn one is VERY cool, love that reversed headstock and even a lefty trem... [wow,he ripped off his bro? how pathetic is that? ]Still searching, but meantime scored a one off GMP tele made for and by Glenn Matejzel, for a total of 3 of the 6 GMP teles we know of in the original run .I'd be open to non JT-6 trem Jackson tellys be they bolt or neck through, Charvel TL-1 or vintage dimas stuff, Carvin Tl60 provided it is NON trem and IS Koa or Walnut, , Hamer t-51 w/rosewood board, lawsuit head stocked Schecter PT's.... pretty much anything other than imports, fenders or frankenstein parts guitars.I have no interest in suhr or anderson stuff.A rare peak into peedenmarks7's winter lair, with new GMP in tow ! He-HEEE !http://img.photobuck.../MVC-122S-1.jpghttp://img.photobuck...k7/MVC-123S.jpghttp://img.photobuck.../MVC-123S-1.jpgBig thanks to Curt @ GMP for the help. It's rare that you post looking for a guitar by serial number and it ends up in your home 5 days later !!
