EI have bought 4 Hamers and my Tele on this forum...as well as a plethora of other gear. I have sold a lot and traded a lot here.

No issues ever, except someone promised to PIF a speaker to me and never did....but how can I complain about a PIF? Lol. This is the best Forum on the web. I buy with confidence from you all and you buy with confidence from me. Life is good here.

Great deals here over and over again. Even the one that started out rough was made right in the end. Good people that absolutely get it. Just beware if the words "mint" and "pristine" are put forth.

murkat potted my strat pickups recently & I had them back sooner than if I'd taken them to someone locally ! Once my son gets himself together & starts paying on his student loans I'm quite sure their will be some new gear in my future.(I'm tempted daily )

It's been a long time since my last major transaction (i.e. guitar or amp purchase) but they all went very well.

I had a minor transction with Kiz recently: sold him a pickup. He paid fast, I shipped fast, he decided it didn't meet his needs, I refunded, he returned. No fuss, no muss, very clean transaction all around.

I seem to be collecting Carfish7's unwanted Yamahas.

But that pipeline started when he took the time to go get, fix up, string, and ship to me an import Hamer Slammer Series strat copy. I'm still moved when I think about it.

Nick sold me an awesome Centaura.

I got some guitars on the way from Citrus and Cynic.

I know I bought a Diablo from someone on the board, but can't remember who. Brentrocks? SteveB? Actually, I had two Diablos, so maybe I bought one from each. If not, then one of them came from eBay.

Sold a Special I couldn't bond with to ScottCrud who couldn't bond with it.

Not an issue or complaint in the lot. Everything as described or better.

Can't remember any other deals at the moment...feel free to chime in and make me feel stupid, tho!

I picked up AT_Quinn's T-51 about a year ago. What can I say? The nicest, cleanest guitar in my stable. Satisfied my understanding that a Tele style guitar was in my future at some point. Now I have it.

This is by far the most trustworthy group of guys anywhere - period. Great advice on everything from repairs to finding parts. Amazing dealers like BCR Greg, elduave and Roy at RS Guitarworks. And not to mention, even some great Pay-it-forward deals on free parts etc.

Oh, yeah: Doug (Hbom) was wonderful, even putting up with a screwup/misunderstanding on my part, to assist me with getting the maple-fretboarded Californian signed by Ted Nugent!

I've been very well-treated by the HFC, and can only hope I've been able to give back some small fraction of the benefits I've received.

I've had some excellent transactions on this board. Two that immediately come to mind are Burningyen & Jisham.

Greg at BCR has gone out of his way to be very helpful beyond the call. I have had one not so good transaction,

where a gentleman wasn't happy with his instrument. I offered to give him a full refund & he refused. Other than

that,this is probably the best gear forum on the planet.
