RobB 5,734
Never gave these guys their due when I was young. I liked goofier punk like The Damned, Circle Jerks, Dickies, etc...I appreciate the Pistols now, for some reason.
RobB 5,734
Most folks cite, "Balls to the Wall", but this is the one for me. Consolation prize for, "Breaker", and, surprisingly, "Metal Heart."
RobB 5,734
I prefer, "Hardware", but this one is the best AC/DC album ever released by Krokus.
RobB 5,734
If you don't dig this gem, you're a soulless ghoul. Or, an idiot.
RobB 5,734
Lars: "What's that defined, low-rumbling sound?" Jason: "Dude! That's the bass." Lars: "The what, now?"
RobB 5,734
Loves me sum mid-80s Motorhead. They killed as a 4-piece.
RobB 5,734
Got this mainly for nostalgia, since I did see the tour in 1982. Turns out it's a pretty good record. A final testament before AC/DC regressed into, "dick-joke", songs... Edited March 21, 2020 by RobB
RobB 5,734
Knock-knock? Who's there? Paul Weller. Paul Weller, who? I don't know. What's his problem?
RobB 5,734
A duo of records that are excellent examples of wading through patently awful vocals for the amazing guitar work. If this is the stuff he had in the can for "Lovedrive", it's obvious why he was summarily sacked from Scorpions. However, some of the material sounds strangely like Boston/Kansas, AOR rock! If he found a killer singer and tightened up the rambling, neo-classical guitar shit into actual, you know, songs, he might have actually got some airplay. RobB 5,734
Ted at his, "Motor City Meathead" pinnacle. C'mon, don't smirk. Theodore has forgotten more guitar than most of us know!
RobB 5,734
Effin' GREAT guitar all over this one. McCartney did a killer cover of, "Honey Hush", on 2000's, "Run Devil Run."
RobB 5,734
Stoked to find this. Only two more LPs to complete my Beatles mono list.
RobB 5,734
$15, six LPs? A no-brainer. Includes a big booklet with copious liner notes. Schwinnnng!
Dave Scepter 2,978
The sky is red, I don't understand, past midnight I still see the land. People are sayin' the woman is damned, she makes you burn with a wave of her hand. The city's a blaze, the town's on fire. The woman's flames are reaching higher. We were fools, we called her liar. All I hear is "Burn!" I didn't believe she was devil's sperm. She said, "Curse you all, you'll never learn! When I leave there's no return." The people laughed till she said, "Burn!" Warning came, no one cared. Earth was shakin', we stood and stared. When it came no one was spared. Still I hear is "Burn!"

DaveH 2,186
Reverence. This is a great metal album... The singer is also involved with Riot V (formerly Riot), and is actually on the Voice with Team Blake right now. He reminds me a lot of the singer in Queensryche.
