The Shark
What are the specs. on those? Did you buy both of them?I did buy them both. Here's the catalog. They are great guitars. Kind of like a great Ibanez of the period, but not nearly as heavy!http://robinguitars.com/1985-1.html

atquinn
Those pickup rings are brilliant. They look cool and they let you go from humbucker to P90 with no routing. -Austin

Bobby Marshall
Never knew about those. In a Willie interview they said there were only about 150 production models, all imports. The orange artisan and your usa custom both make me weak in the knees.Cool indeed. Scottcrud
Yup, Robins rule. I have two Raiders that destroy any other bolt on guitar I've ever played. Their necks are exceptional.

The Shark
Okay, fellas. The Chushin prototype is up for grabs. It's the only one ever made. It was sent sans finish and logo to Dave Wintz at Robin. Dave commissioned Chushin to build the production models. It has the USA logo. It's on eBay. Rodan
I love both of the Artisan designs pictured in this thread! That has to be an all-time, cake-taking, brilliant combination of 'Paul and SG styles! And the rounded rings on the carved top...(sigh)If you ask me, this design should've secured the fortunes of any guitar company. Sad to see work like this pass into history.

The Shark
The black one arrived today. Killer guitar, but the Muy Grande isn't my cup of tea. I'm going with a set of Seymour Antiquities with aged gold covers. They will be here soon.Muy Grande is for sale.
