anotherfreak Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 would it be possible to wire up a p-rail to a dual vol pot like a Jazz bass vol controll? to basically blend between the two sides?
anotherfreak Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 ok, so i am thinking N)blend B)blend> 3way toggle > master tone > master vol makes it the same 4knob 1switch for appearances, could prolly use a psh/pll on the tone knob for s/p as well.
anotherfreak Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 I have a pair, they're ok. I like the P-90 better than the rail when it's all one OR the other, but I think this way I could blend a little of the P-90 with the rail and get a better(different) sound and still be hum free. as for the tripple shot, I have 'em on a godin Flat V that has a really flat neck angle and the strings are very low to the face of the guitar. I play with my fingers, and rest my thumb on the bass strings. The switches are always poking me in the side of my thumb. sounds simple enough but a couple hours of this is a real drag
