atquinn 2,211
This one. My 2nd modern this year. Looks almost exactly like the Guhtrie Govan model I had that it it replaced but, it has the thicker neck carve and compound radius fretboard which makes it a bit more comfy for me to play. Also has no Tremolno and very slightly different wiring (although the pickups are the same). Covers all the bases so it gets the most playing time although the Studio Custom and Daytona are still better at dedicated humbucker and strat tones respectively. veatch 3,575
Some great stuff in this thread... I haven't had a "number one" in a long time - i really cycle through most of my guitars. I will usually grab what will work with the songs in the set list. If i need something i *know* will sound good regardless of the songs (in other words - i don't know what i'm getting into... i will grab this one:
KH Guitar Freak 164
It would have to be my 1995 Hamer Diablo II USA. AFAIK, mine came with a customised push pull pot on the master volume to activate the coil splitting...
sonny o'hoolighan 120
What would that be, veatch?Currently I'm playing my Artist more than anything, but I'm about to drop some WCRs into a Monaco Elite...I'll see what happens then. Anyway, this thread has opened my eyes to other builders. The Melancon Cajun Gentleman has my interest...

RobB 6,082
My J-45 GibsonMuddy, that is a bitchen Gibson ya got there! I love anything from the J-series. Slope-shouldered jumbos, to me, are the best compromise between volume projection, bass-response and a manageable body size.

DBraz 4,133
Followed closely by this (when I play guitar): If I can get my Strat tweaked properly it could be a fight, but I've been saying "if I can get my Strat tweaked properly" for three or four years now - it's closer than ever, but I just can't find the time to work on it and, with the Senior available, I'm not particularly motivated. Wonderful. What a beauty!
RichRS6 719
This is the one getting most playing at the moment. Having a Standard as a daily hack is difficult as they're so bulky they pick up damage really easily, this one has already taken a lot of knocks so a few more aren't going to worry me (much) plus it sounds great. HoboMan 178
2012 Les Paul Jr. Special. Originally came with P90s. I love the tone of P90s but can't stand the buzz. I put in a set of custom vintage spec wound Vintage Vibe P90 size Humbuckers. Sounds & plays KILLER!
