serial Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I was planning on bringing this one down to the Philly show on sunday and wheeling it around to sell, but figured I'd take a shot to see if anyone here is interested. Sorry-I cannot ship this one, but will be bringing it to the Philly Show sunday morning. Here's the deal... -1982 WHITE Anniversary 4x12 cab, original tolex has some rips, tears, etc, but it sounds great.-Head is a WHITE JCM 800 2204 (original tolex) dummy head that Todd the Marshall God built an 18w amp into. The dummy head was one that Marshall built in 1987 or 1988 for one of the various and sundry metal bands to line up behind them to look cool. The dummy heads had a virgin chassis, pots, knobs and working power switch to look the part onstage. Amp has two stages with a master volume on one and a blower switch for a second "channel" on the back (no extra holes drilled anywhere).Hate to get rid of it, but I don't use it anymore and the wife wants it out!Was looking to get $1200 for it, but might be willing to do an HFC deal.
DEMENTED Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Please email me with details as soon as you can Serial, Thanks. Oh, and some pics if you got 'em.
DavidE Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 "Was looking to get $1200 for it, but might be willing to do an HFC deal. "Cool. I'll take the pair for the traditional HFC deal of $350. The gas costs should make the total spent around $1200.

cmatthes Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I'm sure that Serial hgs better pics of that head/cab, but this is all I could find: Here's either that head or another (similar) one Steve had for sale recently:
serial Posted November 11, 2005 Author Posted November 11, 2005 Had to work late last night and didn't get to snap any pics, but those are some that were online-thanks Chris! The head in the pic was a straight JCM800 100w that I had-the one I have now is in better shape cosmetically, just has the custom guts. Hate to get rid of it, but the wife has plans for my "music room" so clearing space is necessary and I can't dump my bass rig or the guitar rig I use for the band. The cab has some dings, tears, some rips here and there, but sounds great. The grillecloth has an area over the bottom left (as you're facing it) that is pushed in. I was told that it was an easy repair by wetting the material (the screens are like woven paper) and letting it dry. It never bothered me at all, so I never did anything with it. The last EMPTY dummy head I saw was a black one that was pretty beat up and it sold for $500 (EMPTY!) on eBay. I'd have to have something lined up before sat evening or it goes to Philly since I've got to leave early sunday am to get there. The 4x12 fit easily into the trunk of my old Honda Accord.
Scottcrud Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 "The last EMPTY dummy head I saw was a black one that was pretty beat up and it sold for $500 (EMPTY!) on eBay. "Heck, since someone went and put guts in it and all, I'll give you $600 for the head...
serial Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 Sorry-wasn't able to find the pics I had-see the ones above for reference-was at a funeral out of state all day yesterday and didn't get back in until late.
