murkat Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Brian's Vector is the Scorpion King. Sweet and Brutal at the same time. I lucked out on that sheet of veneer, it is like heat, lava. I have one piece left just enough for the other Vector redux.

Jay made so many changes to get the guitar to this level, and I can't wait for its return (well after Jay is done of course). I love everything Jay has done, from sustainblock trem to kahler (I know, blasphemy; but the SB trem was a pain in the arse), terrible black finish to this gorgeous cherry trans (over a fab piece of quilt veneer), relocation of selector switch, tuners, etc. I'm so glad I made the call to send Jay my guitar. And I'm a fan of the paddle headstock (not a fan of the KK vector, just MHO). I also told Jay I was after a Randy-era/Ozzy fiddle, but after our latest call, I was in a Scorps frame of mind (NOW and Piece of Meat in particular). Thanks again for the update Jay. Woohoo!

Think I might have seen him and I think he might have a thing for Vees. Maybe that was the influence??? - NAH !!! Awesome, just totally awesome. Hamerica
