Serial 39786. Based on serial, it is an 83 but owner says he bought direct from Hamer as is.

serial Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Yep-it didn't leave the factory like that! Refin at a minimum. That logo is, um, interesting. Check carefully to see if there isn't a filled trem route. Not likely that it was a factory stop/tuna (possible, but unlikely).

I am standard heavy at the moment and don't have to time/funds to mess with it and try to convince someone what it really is if were to sell it at some point

Andrew Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 The most tragic thing: the pickup combination might be original - it's exactly like the Robin Crosby FB here a few weeks ago.I now know what my ultimate Hamer would be - a Blitz (either headstock design) with a triple coil, no neck pickup or guard and a fixed sustain block finished in some garish colour or graphic! Yellow black zulu? Japanese flag?
