django49
Not sure if this one got posted. We always had fun with this, way back when it was not an ancient oldie..... And "Witch" by the Sonics and "Stop and Take A Look At Me" by Mr. Lucky and the Gamblers were also "staples" in the Pacific Northwest. Fun times. There is actually a website with lots of info on PNW bands. Our old band is listed, so it is clearly NOT very discriminating!

And I always assumed Vehicle was by Blood, Sweat & Tears. No wonder I couldn't find that song in their catalog. Soundcloud is having problems right now, but I can't wait to hear your cover of it. Thanks for the link. Eye of the Tiger was sung by Dave Bickler. Guy still sounds great.

I grew up listening to all these songs on AM Radio in the 60s, all of which charted in the top 10: Hanky Panky, I Think We're Alone Now, Mony Mony, Crimson and Clover, Sweet Cherry Wine, Crystal Blue Persuasion, Draggin' the Line. Great stuff!
BruceM
These two always amused me in the 80s, but I'm not sure they were really hits: And for endlessly amusing sexual fish puns:
