Hi fellow HFC'ers I now only have #0572 Standard with the Kahler left.

First up, #0572. Sunburst finish (more red in person), very clean condition, no breaks. Frets are original and in great shape. It has had a Kahler trem installed professionally. Gold schaller tuners to match the trem. Nice medium to large neck (not as large as the more recent Hamer vintage cut) but definitely not a skinny neck. Plays and sounds great. I have the trem bar, just didn't put it on for the picture. Top on this one is very nice, it pops at certain angles. Comes with a newer Hamer hsc.

#0687. Light unburst finish. No breaks or repairs. All original. Frets are original and in great shape. A couple of dings through the finish on the top and some nicks on the back and edges. Nice top, not super flamey but has nice flame from certain angles. Medium to larger sized neck (again, not as large as the recent Hamer vintage cut done for the standards) This one is a great player. Comes with original Hamer hsc.

Hmmm...HamStd liquidating, raising cash. Got some insider info on a merger/spinoff/IPO perhaps? Come on HamStd, share the insider info before I start droppin' the cash son. (1) 4dig Std/per 10,000 shares.

Hi Jon,

It is tape on the back of the bass. I was told the previous owner was a touring musician. Definitely has a lot of battle scars.

Those is the 0700s are three piece.

Both of them are one piece necks. It is interesting about your observation, I'll have to "explore" this in more detail.

Thanks for posting the pics. When I get back home, I'll make a closer inspection as it is clearly visible with the natural colored back on those standards but harder to tell with the red. Is 0730 the walnut finished one?

The Walnut one is 0722 and is three-piece.

I remember 0721 being for sale, do you remember whether that was three-piece?

Even though the four-digits were being wood-worked off site you can see that the materials and parts were coming more and more from the AH factory.

 
Standard with the kahler is on hold

Come on HFC, help me out and buy a nice 4 digit Standard.

Open to reasonable offers.
