Well, there may or may not be an Emerald Green Shishkov Ultimate in the works in the very near future...

Love the Matthi Ultimates! Serial, how is yours wired to take advantage of the middle pup?

Here's mine...see the NSD thread I just posted....2aa4d6ad8dc07834d44f298cee391759.jpg

Well....I was going to specify emerald green. Perhaps a dip in the ocean might be in order.

That guitar is stunning. I'm blue-green with envy.

Well, there could have been some yellow in the game to mix up with the blue. In that case, it would be a blue sunburst kind of thing.

Call it blue sunglasses sunburst. B)

From what I've seen on facebook, it's something like this:

#0000 is Jazzburst.

#0001 is Atlantic Blueburst.

#0002 is Trans Black.

#0003 is Tobacco Sunburs.

#0004 Antique Natural.

#0005 Blueburst.

#0006 is Gulfburst.

There is also pics of them all on fb Posted by the two Matthes (bros?).

I think the one in the pickup thread is #0000.

Well, as of yesterday, the first three had been delivered. The fourth lands today in the cold Midwest. Two of the three who have had them since last Sunday have been on the road for most of the week.

Not a lot of time for video/audio recording, but that will certainly be a possibility soon I'm sure.

Eventually, we'd like to get some demos/tone reports up on the Shishkov main site.

Is it with Brent? If so, the video clips should be soon to follow...

Actually, 0004 should be going over to our Fearless Leader, Ted. I won't belabor the forum with the simple logic of that conclusion, but you can find it for yourself in the "Other notes, algorithms and mysteries" section at the bottom of the Shishkov Ultimate Registry. ;)

That said, a "Brent's Guitar Emporium - Shishkov Ultimate Edition" would be a welcome addition to the narrative!

ETA: it seems CMatthes beat me to the punch.

I wish I had ordered one....I really missed the boat

Reading the last few posts, I realized I'm about 27 more guitars away, and I climbed back in bed and pulled the covers over my head.

I have updated the initial post of the Shishkov Ulitmate Registry thread

Like RobB said, let me know if I have any of this wrong or if anyone would like their burst described differently. I'm considering downloading available photos into a Photobucket folder and linking to the registry, but that might be more than anyone wants available.

Edited to remain in sync with reality...

#0000 is a Jazzburst quilt top model, B&C, bound, matching headstock.

The mahogany/dots is an unnumbered prototype, "test bed" for the pickups. It is not a completed instrument.

0005 is not Oceanburst - it's a Blueburst.

Deleted my post. Certainly don't want to be the guy that puts out false info on the internet. Jameson and MB posting don't go together well, it appears.
