louhamer Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 What is a decent looper for practice. I was thinking about the boss r3. Any opinions?
Ethan Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I've got the Digitech Jam Man Express, which I bought solely for practice and maybe some simple live loops-works great!
Toadroller Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 See this thread:http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/70097-who-was-asking-about-loopers/?hl=looper#entry773772I bought the Akai Headrush mentioned for $55 new in the box from eBay, and have been having blast with it, really learning what harmony means. What a great teaching tool.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Akai-Professional-E2-Head-Rush-Delay-Looper-Pedal-Delay-Loop-Pedal-/171745861733?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27fcd9e065
sonic1974 Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Ditto looper is nice and easy to use. Can't recall the name of the company that makes them right now.

G Man Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I've got a Boss RC2 and a ditto. They Boss is nice for all of its bells and whistles, like aux. in, drum tracks and being able to slow down patches without loosing pitch, the ditto is great for its utter simplicity to use.
polara Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I'm digging the Akai Headrush for simplicity, sound quality, and that it is first-rate tap-tempo delay/echo as well. Short loop time though and not loads of tricky stuff.
