Rich Koa Double Neck... or even an 10 string Koa Bich. USA of course.I only came across one in real life once, and kick myself for not grabbing it. It was really expensive... really.I've got a Gibson Double Neck, (that always got more applause then me...) but it's not what I wanted (and never really use anymore anyway).Double Necks are so '80s... you'd think people would be dumping the darned things.I guess if I found one now, I'd still have to pass on it... I'm up to my eyeballs in gear and have to unload soon, but I still think of the Bich that got away.

Hamerica Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Two that I will name as they were reasonable off the top of my head -I could have bought one of the Rick Nielsen Signature Headstock Standards that was only designated for Japan that Mak'n Music had hanging up for sale. I was in the store, held it, and didn't know what it was at the time. By the time I found out what it was, it was long gone. I was in Willie's a long time ago asking about Hamers and the guy looked at me and said they had a used 7 string that left the store the day before. I damn near fainted. Don't know if he was pulling my leg or not. I have other Willies stories however, that one is the one that still keeps me up at night.Hamerica
veatch Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Had a chance to buy one when they first came out, and while i was saving up the money, Jackson took off and the guitar became unaffordable. Then unobtainable as the cutouts became too costly to continue doing... Not sure what i would do if i found one now - kinda past the pointy guitar thing at my age, but i still look back at that one and think about it.
