LOL. I like Billy's music, but he's the Piano man. One of his personal grand pianos (and choice of one of his backdoor women) might be worth that. Jeez.

Well......Billy DID just break the record as the person with the most performances ever at Madison Square Garden.

I would guess owning a guitar he played is a lot rarer than owning a keyboard.

Interesting if he had a Hamer.

Ha ha. Terrible ad. Needs more pics. Pics of Billy Joel rocking "Uptown Girl" on a Hamer, pics of the certificate, pics of him signing the guitar....

IF he had all that, it'd be mine...I love Billy Joel's guitar playing. He's my guitar hero.

Now if there was some photos to support this, it might be worth a bit more than $1,000. Specifically, something incredibly personal involving Christie Brinkley perhaps?...

 
I left the Greenwich, CT blue-blood the following note: "Really Nice Hamer - I'd offer you over $1K for it, but some drunk piano player defaced it by scribbling on it"
