cmatthes
NOT a B12S.....it's a Chaparral 12, which is a 34" longscale . Actually, it's not. It's a B-12L. The Chapparal 12 is the name of the Import model!
tomteriffic
Obviously it's impossible to tell from a pic (maybe by comparing two with one being a known scale length), but that doesn't look long scale to me.
bambino68
Real color or Refinish?
cmatthes
Real color. I've seen a few in that finish. Obviously, most were black (by a LONG shot), then Trans Cherry, but there have been some natural, some white, a couple green, and even fewer (2) in flip/flop "Eclipse" bluegreen, and a yellow one, a bright red one and a dark blue one. There could easily be others! It's also a longscale (34"). If it was a 32" or even a 30.5", the bridge/tailpiece would be in a different place. The Chapparal 12 is the name of the Import model! Hmmmmmm.....Always thought Chap 12 and B12L were interchangeable. Interesting. So, I imagine that applies to my (green and cherry) Chap 8-strings as well? Are they B8L, even though there was never an import version? Then.....what is my Chaparral 8+4 Doubleneck officially called?
