Old Fender Amps, tweed, blackface $$$$$

I've decided that the time is right to pass along most of the old Fender amps I've collected. I'm still employed, married, healthy, etc. (knock wood) and I have no pressing financial issues, so no condolences are required. I just realized that I have a bit too much money tied up in these amps and I'm not enjoying them quite as much as I used too since my playing time is limited.

Each of the amps was selected because its the absolute best example of its kind that I could find. All components are original (except for a couple of speakers) and have been thoroughly inspected and tuned up by the fine folks at Savage Audio - makers of Savage amplifiers. They all work flawlessly and sound as good as you would expect from prime examples of these models. Prices include shipping in the US and are current market value based on condition. PayPal accepted if you pay the fee. Detailed descriptions and photos available. I'd consider a Carr Mercury or Rambler in trade, but that's about it. I'm looking to downsize.

1954 tweed Champ $1,000; 1962 brown Princeton $1,200; 1966 blackface Princeton Reverb $1,600; 1967 blackface Deluxe Reverb $2,500; 1966 blackface Vibrolux Reverb $2,800; Recent tweed 57 RI low-power Twin $1,500.

Package deal: $10K for the lot and I'll pay shipping :o

The Stiletto is probably going to be offered up as well. I like it more than any other Mesa amp I've tried and it is, without question, a magnificent amp. However, it's just a bit too "fiddly" for me. I'm more of a 2-3 knob amp guy. The Stiletto is perfect if you want the flexibility to go from crystal clean to crunch to Mesa grind and you enjoy dialing in perfect tones. I don't need that much flexibility (or 100 watts). I've really enjoyed it, though.

Right now, the two amps that are really working for me are a reissue Vox AC15 and my Bogner Shiva 2-10 Combo.

Interested in a killer 66 Twin as trade bait?

Sorry Greg, a Twin is WAY more amp than I need.

I still can't believe I didn't buy a blackface deluxe reverb for about $500 maybe 10 years ago. Big mistake.

I need to fire up my reissue AC15 with Celestion Blue again. Haven't touched it since I moved into my new house last spring.
