Do chambered or weight relieved guitars tend to feedback moreso than solid bodies? If so, how do you counter it?
I ask because my LP Axcess which IS weight relieved via chambering and tends to howl like a banshee (in a bad way) with feedback when I play at gig volume particularly when I hit the channel boost for a solo. Been battling this issue for years and it's the only remaining detrimental item in my bevy of stage axes. Have tried dropping the channel and/or FX setting's gain, have had the guitar looked at by a supposed certified luthier who could not identify anything. Is the Murkat Floyd Special p'up too hot?
