need help decoding this Hamer serial number

ok, ok, ok,  I understand that the 6th digit is blacked out.  in the 2000s didn't Hamer go to a leading 0?  So this one is an '03, the 5249Xth guitar made by Hamer?  Are those Grover tuners?  Thanks folks!  Cheers!

No, they didn't use a leading Zero in the 2000s. Only in the actual year 2000.
Like cynic said, it's the 52,49xth guitar made by Hamer using that serial format.
Yes, that's a 2003 with Grover tuners.
