Okay my good Hamer peoples... floating a couple of interesting custom order basses out there just to gauge interest.

'90 Standard - Keeping

'90 B4S - $2600 shipped CONUS

I also have an '05 Korina Junior that I will let go for $SOLD irrespective of this other deal.  I see it as a bit redundant to my BCR Jr, and really can't justify keeping both.

Thank you, and I can provide plenty of detail and additional pics if anyone is interested.  Standard and Jr. have OHSC, and B4S comes in a more recent Hamer case.

Timing is never my friend!

Since somebody fcuked me over in a deal on that Standard Bass over almost two decades ago, I've followed its moves.  I wish I was in a position to finally pull the trigger, but not now.

Ah well.

GLWTS, and I can't wait to see what you've got cooking!

"Wagon them circles!"   Wayne John

That hunk 'o Korina Jr. looks sexier than hell and the other two black tie affairs are class acts also.  GLWS!

Ahh there once was a time.....   :D

Compares pretty much what's called the Opel Omega in Germany. As we had two of the estates over the years, still one in daily use. Also had one limousine for about 14 years. Best cars we ever had, especially while the children were smaller. Endless room in them. Ha, this summer we went to Scotland with the one in metallic blue. 4 people, 4 bicycles, 5000 km, and Omega for trust.

That certainly does bear some resemblance!  This Buick was my wife's ~10 years ago.  She had really wanted one of these, and it took me forever to land one without fake wood paneling all over it.  Fun watching her 5'3 self tooling around in a land yacht (called it the "ship of the desert"), and I kinda liked that it had a Vette LT-1 under the hood.  Always wanted to throw a set of glass-packs on it, but got the veto on that!  :P

Quick update on this-

Korina Jr sold via Reverb.

Keeping the Standard.

Might still consider selling the black '90 B4S (to fund Gretsch guitar GAS).

Thanks!

If only the RoadMaster had Authentic Faux Wood Paneling on the side.  Oh wait a second, is that the Funeral Hearse model?!  Skull & Cross Bones decal on the hubcaps?

I'm dreaming of a white...Buick Hearse.  Just like the one Uncle Jack rode in for his final ride.  With the soft suspension and huge V8 engine and push button AM radiooooo.....come on you stiffs sing it with me!!!

Apropos of something, maybe even this, I once appraised the factory where most of this country's hearses are made. They were getting a bit anxious since the Roadmasters, full-size Caddys and Lincolns, even the big Ford Crown Vics are going the way of the dodo.

What are they gonna do next?  Stretch a Nissan Leaf into a coffin coupe?
