I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active phone that I am quite fond of. Does anyone know of a reputable online source where I could purchase a replacement battery?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Merry Christmas.

I have an S5 as well and absolutely love it~ didn't like the S7 much... But to answer your question, do you have a Batteries Plus by you?.. if not I would just hit up Verizon or your carrier... it's not worth the risk to buy a cheap knock off...

I had (had) several MyTouch Droids. The batteries were quite expensive from the T-Mobile store. Found them on Amazon anywhere from $4.95 Prime shipped to $7. They worked fine.

Here. Merry Christmas and You're Welcome.

They do work "fine" however, every single time I've purchased different "non OEM" batteries for phones, POV's etc... they just never seen to perform nearly as well as the genuine OEM batteries... & for the price difference, considering all the recent issues, I just wouldn't risk it... YMMV  :P

The ones I got from Amazon were HTC which is OEM for my old droid. I'm not sure what is OEM for yours but a simple search in Amazon may land you a few.

That's where I purchased all my batteries from with less than Stellar performance "in a back-to-back comparison"... Unfortunately Amazon is now notoriously known for fake/counterfeit items... not all...  "I do a lot of shopping there myself"  however, in this instance, I feel better safe than sorry...

Amazon or Ebay. Just make sure you buy an OEM and not a compatible replacement.

I bought an OEM battery with charger & charging case for $20 for my LG phone.

Tons of places sell counterfeit batteries and are close to impossible to tell them from the original. Many phone shops sell them too. It's become a real problem. My sister in law bought one from her dealer that damaged her phone... that phone manufacturer claimed the battery was a fake and her dealer denied they sold her THAT particular battery.
