PSA - 2000 Hamer Vanguard on eBay

KILLER Guitar, Bloozeguy has or had one with Rio Grande P90's in it and OMGoodness it was a tone machine.

Yeah I have the same year model and color but mine me came with Lindy Fralin pickups installed and it sounds incredible. Never heard the Seymour Duncan's in it but that problem is easily remedied unless it's not a problem to the new owner.

My Hamer Is a 2000 Vanguard per my Hamer Card that was in the case. Guess this was the turning point to change to the Artist to avoid complications. So I guess a few 2000's were Vanguard's before the name change but no doubt the same guitar. Mine has no Hamer inscription in the F Hole, just purty sounding Mahogany wood. So the listing is accurate. I had bought a 2000 Silver Sparkle for less money online from GC but someone there screwed up and sold it to an in store customer! All ends well as I prefer the Trans Red or wine red as it really is.

As is so often the case with Hamers, never say never I guess. :D

 
Where did it go???  :huh: .. I'm not familiar with these Hog P90 Artists/Vanguards... are they any good?.. stock SD pickups?

yes,   artist mahogany's both p-90 and hum versions are great.  

sold...      someone sent a best offer.   looks like it may have gone below asking...

looked nice,   am not in the market but was watching it... couldn't really tell the

extent of the fretwear.

 
I bought my Silver P-90 Artist Mahogany new and it is still my #1 go to guitar . Huge tonal variety with the stock pickups, volume and tone control . It is the guitar that got me hooked on Hamer . Greatness .
