from my fingers
want to know if tuners are original.
from my fingers
Up for sale is a Hamer USA Sunburst Archtop. According to serial number, it should be 2001. Duncan ‘59 Neck, Duncan sh-4 bridge. Listing in very good condition, due to just a couple of dings. Probably leans towards the excellent side of the spectrum. It has Sperzel pearl tuners, Rick Nielsen graphic back plate.

RobB
Show a pic of the tuners. The buttons are most likely aftermarket, but they could’ve been spec’d (along with the bound headstock) as a custom feature.

Steve Haynie
Some players changed tuner buttons to cut a little bit of weight from the guitar. It is not much, but some people notice a difference in the way the guitar balances.

hamerhead
That is a great looking guitar. Classy. We need more pictures!!
veatch
Nice guitar. Note that those are Schaller tuners, not Sperzel. Schaller would have been the original (most likely). As Steve said, the buttons are replacements.

cmatthes
By "Rick Nielsen Graphic" back plate, do you mean the "Tone to the Bone" Skeleton with the checkerboard Standard? If so, that was likely owned by somebody on the HFC, as those were done years ago by a member here and not available elsewhere.
