Wiring diagram for Cali Std

Question

Yet one more reason to dislike the blade style switches-  swapping p'ups is a tad more involved with a 3 position blade switch in the equation. That said, I've scoured the internet for a wiring diagram for the Cali Std: 1 H, 1 SC, 1 Vol and the verdammt blade switch. Found a lot of what I don't want.

Any help is appreciated.

I think I'm reading you want a five-way blade in the mix ... if you're converting to a five-way blade for two pickups, assuming the HB is four-conductor and the neck single is a four-conductor stack or rail ... what are you trying to get the pickups to do in the "2" and "4" positions? That makes all the difference. Search for wiring circuits for modern Ibanez RGs with two humbuckers. They usually have a five-way and taps and series/parallel shit going on in the 2, 3 and 4 positions. But you may need a superswitch-style blade if you get too wild with it.

If you're using a three-way blade, use a telecaster diagram and ignore the tone control and how it wires into the circuit and you should be fine.

It is indeed a 3 way blade switch, Jeff. I too, saw the Tele wiring schemes and you're correct- they were the closest to what I actually need. I just want your basic wiring set- up,  no parallel/series shit. Much of what I saw online had a lot of extra shit like that.

Mission accomplished! Thanks @Jeff R for the point in the right direction! Add one more item (configuring soldering 3 way blade ) to my skill sets and one more successful operation to emerge from my operating table. She plays and sounds fantastic!
