Disturber
Looks like an ordinary Centaura body with a painted neck and a very ugly headstock. Why would anyone want this instead of the ordinary, very cool, upside down headstock? That looks headstock looks weird.

polara
What is up with that headstock and "Hamer Guitars" logo? And a Centaura with centered dots. Serial number looks legit, but... was that headstock molested and the whole thing refinished maybe?
kizanski
I'm still laughing at "Sir valence."
Steve Haynie
The USA in the headstock logo is thick and it is closer to the nut than normal to make room for the signature. Hamer could have put the player's name on the headstock like they did many times.

scottcald
So, is this thing a legit USA Hamer?
Steve Haynie
It is likely a real Hamer, but the headstock may have been altered.
tobereeno
if Hamer did that headstock shape, then that guitar does have some significance as being yet another unique one-off. I personally don't like the headstock shape - it looks like (if original) someone ordered a Kramer shaped headstock for their Centaura. IIRC the Maestro also has a big signature on the headstock, not to mention production Steve Stevens models.

Biz Prof
While it seems nearly anything was possible in a Hamer CO from that era, I have serious doubts that this is an unmodified original: *Painted bolt-on neck (WTH?) *Krameresque headstock *"Guitars" under the logo Hmmm. I don't know...

Pretty sure it’s the original color because the serial number is so crisp - not sure about the graphics on the front.
