Absolutely. It really isn't that hard in this day and age - even with a phone - to take representative photos of guitars in decent light when you are trying to sell something north of $2k. Outright selling to a brick-and-mortar store isn't much better than selling gear at a pawn shop, if that. If you have to sell that way, it pays to ask about putting your gear on consignment...but find out first how much a percentage of the consignment sale the store wants to charge you for doing the 'service', though.
