SSII x 2 Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Anyone know what size the hex wrench is for a US Fender Strat bridge saddle? It's really tiny and I'd like to have an extra one. Lucky for me I got the case candy with mine or I'd never find one that small around the house.
Hbom Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 "Saddle Height Adjustment Wrench pn# 0018531000 (.050 in. Hex) Did a quick search and came up with this part#. Looks like the actual instrument wrench is hard to find but a good hex pack might have it. " MY 2 cents: If you have a wrench that fits, I would take it along for comparison when you go to buy. IME, With FMIC you never know which part they use from one week to the next. After looking around a bit more I would start here; https://www.angela.com/wrenches.aspx
SSII x 2 Posted November 16, 2018 Author Posted November 16, 2018 Hey, thanks for the info. I've got several sets of those wrenches, but nothing that small, so I'm guarding the one that came with Beck Strat.
killerteddybear Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 If you're sure it's 0.050", buy individual ones from McMaster Carr:https://www.mcmaster.com/hex-keys They're cheaper than picks at $0.18 - $0.99 each... or you can dive into cork sniffery and buy the titanium version for $27.40!
