Black ‘96 Daytona HARDTAIL(!) On feePay

I'm seeing an open screw hole on the back of the headstock, just below the low E tuner.  I don't see any others, but that don't mean that they aren't there.

I'm guessing it never got installed since I don't see an imprint of the D Tuna and it appears the screw is still in the hole.

I don't see the screw head, but it certainly appears to be some sort of botched install.

@kizanski that is what happens when you drill the hole too small and try to force the screw in. You snap the head off, and since it appears to be silver in the hole, I would say this is what happened. Also a good way to crack a headstock.

Helps if you warm the area up first. You know, don't rush things.
