Disturber
This album came last year and I'm still having it on rotation. That means it is most excellent. Any other White Reaper fans here? The singer has a killer snarl to his voice, guitars sound mid heavy and a bit boxy - like from a hard driven small 6V6 Fender amp through a 10" speaker (like an 80s Super Champ), the bass and drums are recorded mixed with killer bottom. The guitar riffs are fun and the song arrangements are excellent. Where Greta Van Fleet are a carbon copy these guys are equally young - but the real thing. This is great friday afternoon power pop! Jakeboy
I like it! Cool little bass solo on the first one! They have a 70s recording sound for sure. Very tapey-sounding. I think I need to buy this.
FrettyMcgee
pretty darn cool. Sounds like something you'd hear playing after Eric Stoltz realizes that Lea Thompson wasn't who he really wanted. Rather, it was his cute tomboy friend, Mary Stuart Masterson all along.
