Refretting 79 Hamer Sunburst

The time has come for me to refret my 79 Sunburst and I'd like to use the same profile/gauge of fret wire that was fitted originally. Can anybody please tell me what fret wire to choose? Thanks in advance.

That's helpful but I'm trying to find out what gauge the guitar would have been fitted with originally. Does anybody know?

 
My guy is ready to re-fret these...

He'll mic the out and use the closest wire he can find.  No nibs.
