Tortious
Why didn't they center the logo a little better in the headstock? Is that a BCR strap?
krempap
thanks for letting me know! That is fantastic.
cmatthes
Very cool bass, but agreed...HOW did they let it out of the shop with that logo placement?
Marvelicious
Yeah... The logo is a little out of whack. I think I'd be able to live with it though, considering the rest of it!
krempap
i was able to get in touch with him. He did bring up a few issues, that really, I don't know if they are or not. Under tension the tail piece lifts up a little, he currently doesn't have it strung, so I can only see it as it is now which looks fine. He said he thought this could be somewhat normal with 12 string basses. The truss rod nuts are not even ( dual rods, nuts at different "heights" , and someone told him this could indicate an issue with them, and they may not be able to be adjusted at all. I dont know if either are valid, I'm a player not a builder. If I could, Id like to see it in person, but 3K miles is quite a drive. Looking for any comments before I continue to pursue it. Marvelicious
Tje only dual truss rod I have any experience with is my Rickenbacker 12 string... The nuts are even on it, but then again... Why have two if you can't adjust them separately?
custom53
I wish I had kept mine...
cmatthes
I've owned several 8 and 12 string Hamer USA basses over the last 20+ years. I've never seen one of mine (nor any of the many dozens of others I've played) have a tailpiece lift. Weird...
