Jfritts
As a bass player, I am really not connected much to the world of vintage acoustics. My sister lost her health many years ago and I have been her only support and her POA. As such, I possess a 1972 Guild D-55 acoustic, all original and one owner. Is Reverb.com my best option or does anyone know of a vintage acoustic group/club that may be better for ascertaining its value and ultimately selling it? Advice much appreciated! RobB
Reverb is a good place to start. As far as value, go to eBay. Search”Guild D-55.” On the left click on, “Completed Listings.” That’ll give you ballpark prices.
hamerhead
Go to the Guild Fan Club (if it's a thing).
PaGator
FWIW the Vintage Guitar Price Guide has a price range of $1,800 - $2,300 for one in Excellent Condition. Ultimately the market will determine the price.
