I’m missing my MonEl gold top w P90’s... love that guitar but it was just to heavy to play very long (10.2 lbs) I’ve got a bug up my ass to get a Superpro P90 or a Monaco lll as a replacement. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!!

SuperPros, in my experience are lighter than Monaco IIIs. Maybe it's the extra pickup and the Bigsby? Not sure, but that's what I've seen.
And my SP is definitely well under 10 pounds.

Did they make P-90 SuperPros?

Never seen a P90 SuperPro. But not to say they don't exist.

I have one of each. I think they weigh about the same. Don't know. But none of them feels heavy to me. They are both in the comfort zone, so to speak. The SuperPro has a bigger chamber as it is also hollow under the bridge pickup.

If only someone would make a bucker sized p-90 that you could swap into a super pro...

Kinman P-90 Buckers.

Great pickups, I have them in my Talladega.

Humbucker-size,  real P-90 sounds, zero hum.

The MON III and Mon Super Pro are exact same body size and scale length.

Seymore Duncan PhatCat is another option for P90 Sound in Humbucker size.

And Lindy Fralin has different options:

- P-90 in humbucker size.

- Noiseless P-90 in humbucker size.

- P-92 (these are always in humbucker size).

Never heard these in person, but the youtube video's sound promising.

So there are more than enough possibilities.

For now I will stick with my Kinman P-90 Buckers.
