GASguy
A Fender 72 Tele Custom FSR vintage reissue that I liked but didn’t play much because I somehow ended up with 3 other humbucker necked Teles after I bought the reissue, an Epiphone Elitist Sheraton minihumbucker that I really liked the tone of, but never played because of the skinny neck, several gift cards I had been sitting on and several hundred bucks equals the above photo. More details and photos to come!

GASguy
Sorry about the delay posting photos; I barely had time to get home to change and get to work yesterday afternoon after leaving GC. I hope to get some outdoor shots later today, but here is a quick photo I took with the iPad just now.
HAMERMAN
Classy! The binding on those ultimate's is insane.

If someone here ever understood I disliked fancy features (such as gold hardware, double binding, abalone inlays, a killer flame top...), that’s not exactly what I mean, OK? I just said that I usually prefer simpler stuff, that’s all. 😏
Disturber
I'd love to get a tone report on how those sound? Are they polite, bright, jazzy? Or can they do a mean rock out too? Someone wrote that the Ultimate pickups are very clear. I'm curious to how the compare to Antiquities, which I think are killer pafs for overdriven tones. Joe G
That was a great score and you have 30 days to decide if it's a keeper. Congrats!
GASguy
So the details are: I saw the Artist Ultimate post in this thread many thanks to the member who provided the GC Artist Ultimate screen shot in the Maple Mirage thread. The GC was a reasonable ride from my area so I brought some trades and went to check it out. The condition was very good, only very minor superficial marks in the clear coat, frets are also in very good condition, minimal wear. As most of you probably know GC doesn’t give great value on trade ins but I was willing to give up the Tele and the Epi Elite Sheraton for a price we were able to agree on in order to bring home the Ultimate. Here are a few outdoor shots.

I had a pair of ultimates in my old artist korina. They can handle the rock VERY well.
