Travis
Any brand, any model, as long as it’s a single cut. Gentleman, and ladies if you’re out there..., post your talladegas/pro’s, Monaco’s, TLE’s, T51’s, Les Pauls, juniors, PRS’s, Huber’s, Ian Anderson’s... hell, throw up some lawsuit Japanese LP copies, ESP’s, or even some custom boooteeek or parts guitars we’ve never even heard of. Just post a single cut and tell us what you love about it. I’ll go first... my ‘07 Talladega. The exact guitar Hamer used for their promos, online/calendar/ad copy/etc. Yes, it plays and sounds fantastic. But the thing I love about it the most is the neck. I absolutely love the sharp V carve. Have contemplated having that neck carve copied for any custom order I ever place with any manufacturer in the future... For years I ran it all stock except for a Duncan Custom shop “Brobucker” in the bridge. An original run 10k A5 pickup before it became so sought after they decided to offer it to order. Recently reinstalled the stock bridge DD pickup and tuned it to open E so I could start messing with some slide... Love, love, love this guitar... The Shark
Robin Kizanski #2... Out of focus Robin Avalon Sport made from the highly elusive Fakimba... Jason Hillbourne "LP" ... Ian Anderson Standard (not sure it's technically a single-cut, but you said Ian Anderson)... Early 1976 Les Paul Artisan without the crazy TP-6 tailpiece... So, for the same reason as the Ian Anderson, I present the Robin E-Type... The Giffin... I'm drinking expensive whiskey and will continue with another post... The Shark
Robin Savoy from the infamous "Chuck" on the Robin Forum... Robin Kizanski #1 (the one with coil taps)... Robin Fakimba Avalon known as "Quiltus Maximus" ... Greg Platzer's best bud Stevie Clay's "El Hefe"... BCR Greg's Avalon (thanks again to my good friend)... My favorite Les Paul... The '87 '59 Les Paul Reissue Quilt... Just a few more before I'm deemed the asshole.
The Shark
The guy I bought this from died last year from an opioid overdose. It's a Custom Authentic '58. It rings like a piano... Lots of old parts, and a "historic makeover" before historic makeover's were cool... I'm done...

I, too, am drinking whiskey tonight. What are you having? gimme a minute and I’ll pick my favorite of the single cuts you posted. It’s gonna be tough. But the wood you posted gives me wood (see what I did there...?)

All of the ones you posted are worth a rub out. But for some reason, this one speaks to me. Why is it your favorite LP? What year/model/specs/etc? It really does look like a real burst. Fantastic guitar for sure.

Travis
Personally, I always felt that the individual V/T on guitars was too much aesthetically and preferred the Hamer V/V/T or master V/T setup. my only gripe on the Talladega Pro was the 4 knobs. Just looked too busy...

Jeff R
Shameless promotion ... Swamp ash/roasted maple "double Thinline" (hollow on the treble side too) mad creation from my shop. That's a Stike finish ... "Gretsch orange" with Custom-like double faux binding. Man, my buddy Seth really makes it shine. Those are TV Jones Starwoods. 6 pounds, three ounces and that's with a solid bell brass sustain block in its behind (the guitar, not Seth). If this fella was smart, he'd not have that much tied up in a guitar. Not that I am regretting it, ya unnerstand. For a possible bit of relief, I believe that Frank is soon completing the second (of an intended 5) of these 10th Anniversary models. BTW, among the other new things (per question above) the tailpiece is milled from a solid piece and topped by a wooden insert that covers the string ends and is held in place magnetically. A few more pictures, just because..... If a person looks hard enough, they just might find a used 5th Anniversary....Slightly less over the top.....
